My intention is just to make an index astartes, just pure and plain fluff, no special rules. Furthermore rules for our characters would be just unplayable, except in commando games or special scenarios like and the Last Chancers. Do you imagine a squad of ten special characters ?

They wouldn't be serious rules, just some fun ;D I had thought to make them upgrades for squads, so you could (to use me as an example) take "Brother Camillus" to replace one tactical marine for +20 points. Then, because my character is huge, even for a marine, he would have +1 strength, etc. Maybe they could be a squad as an apocalypse formation... Or for you (this is just quickly done) Roland would have Bionics (6+inv.) for +5 pts. And so on through the roster. They wouldn't be super powerful, just slightly better than normal tactical marines. Might even put in some disadvantages to balance it out. In fact I started a thread for it here: sonsoftheemperor.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=gen&thread=166

Here come the promised new version of the IA. A few notes on the modifications : - I expanded the homeworld part, mainly with background on the Sanctified, which is now a war prize, our main naval asset and the testimony of our good relationship with the Mechanicus and the Imperial Fleet. - I wrote the combat doctrine part, with much emphasis put on our fleet-based nature, which means orbital supremacy and support to me. - I expanded the gene-seed part, it is always hard for a codex chapter so say more than "pure, stable, the end" but it seemed a little light for me so I said some rubbish about deviancies usually caused by the introduction of diversified genes from a vast collection of recruitment planets and added that the competence of our apothecaries maintain it to acceptable levels.
What I still need to do : - Organization and chapter beliefs parts. - A lot of history on our first big operation, the cleansing of the Misery of Oduna, the events of the third war for Armageddon and a little something on the Bonai crusade (our detachment in the eastern fringes). - Background for our two greatest heroes, Solomon Weylands et Master of the fleet Fastius.
What we need to discuss : - All the new modifications. Does they suit you ? Discussion, arguments and idea are most welcome. - The destiny of Weylands and its place within the chapter. Would a glorious death after a last battle with his old brothers be ok, considering we already lost the second most important officer a mere day or two before ? Can a dreadnought continue to be a chapter master ? It could be our particularity. - How did the chapter managed in the war for Armageddon? The fourth company suffered heavy losses, is it the same for the others ? - What are the Foeseekers ? I can think of company champions who vow to search, find, duel and finally kill the enemy commanders or their most fearsome warriors. An other possibility would be our name for the archivists who guide us to our foe with use of divination and he Tarot of the Emperor, though the foeseekers are described in C:SM as members of the command squad and archivists are not part of these.
