I have always thought about it, but have never gotten around to actually collect them... yet

Mmm, my browser isn't spazzing up anymore so I can go into some detail.
My primary armies at the moment are Space Marines of the Ultramarines chapter, taken up because they have a vibe of being the 'newbie' army and I'd never seen anybody play them professionally or put any effort into painting them. Thus, here they are, reasonably well painted [store quality for the most part] and with a solid winning streak so far in battles.
Throw down Orcs and Goblins alongside some Dwarves, and you have my current Fantasy lineup. I play both sides of the field there, although my Vampires are a much larger army and my Warriors of Chaos are a much more rounded force as well. O&G with Dwarves are more for the fun of it then to win anything.
I have a pile of Tyranids, Chaos Space Marines, Necrons, Orks and the like all as well. Orks are probably at the front, painting up as a very gritty and trigger happy Bad Moons klan with some kustom konversions . Chaos Space Marines are going to make a come-back in the next month or so with a Forgeworld order to create a fully detailed World Eaters army of doom.
Current side-project is my Imperial Guard, which I started when I heard about the new codex. I haven't played them yet, but they're being converted up as traitor guard with daemons, possessed vehicles, mobile shrines and plenty of other nasty-goodies.
I also do a chunk of the Specialist Games, but none of my friends really play so I don't have any standing armies or the like. Been trying to get into Lord of the Rings recently, had some fun so far but once again my small group isn't really into it.

I used to play Tau, but then I started reading into the other armies and gave them a try. I'm currently working on a loyalist Space Marine army. Can't decide on a good name for them. Death Casters?
I also field an orc bloodbowl team that does pretty well for itself.
