Almost solely 40k for me, I have space marines (my own chapter, the Blood Lords, and I'm starting Ultramarines soon), daemons (a multi-god daemonzilla army), and daemonhunters (mostly allies to my marines). Edit- I'm thinking about starting Iron Warriors too, yeah I like power armour lol.
I collected brettonians for fantasy a while back, but never played with them. I'm now working on an orc and goblin army led by Grimgor though.
I'm also thinking about stating a mordor army for the lord of the rings, but that won't be for a while. I'm thinking about having a go at inquisitor too.

I haven't had time to play in a long time (my degree gets in the way) but when I do get the chance I play Blood Angels in 40K and Dwarves in WFB. I also have a Goliath gang and a skaven Blood Bowl team.
If this site takes off and we can get enough committed members to keep it running (I reckon we need about 20 regular posters to make it self sustaining) ten I might start a small Omega Marines force based on characters from the 4th company.

I have been playing 40K since I spotted a magazine in my local newsagents, with some armored blokes in blue armor (with red hands) and guns doing some last stand heroics on the front cover (White Dwarf 93) - been hooked ever since. My first army was Space Wolves (before they were vikings in space) and I still have them as my first army today (though I have neglected them for the last 2 years due to the rumors about a new Space Wolf codex, which frustratingly has yet to happen). About 6 years ago after a long series of wins with the Wolves I sought to give my self a new challenge (and my mates a break lol) and bought Tau. This defiantly brought my winning streak to an end, but looking back was a thoroughly enjoyable learning curve as I learned that Fire Warriors are not Grey Hunters!! However the '16th/20th Tutonberg Infantry Imperial Guard Rgt' has been rapidly growing over the last 3 years and now numbers a complete company of infantry + various tanks including a Stormblade. This is my principle apoc force and will continue to grow when the new codex is released. Last year I started collecting a second Guard force based on the Vraxian Renegade Militia produced by Forge World. This is a company sized force and has gained a suitably attired Baneblade. Discovered Warhammer about 18 months ago and have a Large Skaven army that I am slowly painting up.

It has been years since i even touched my 40k.
I played Imperial Guard.
My fantasy army was Empire.
Something of a correlation. I was very used to armies of average joes beating on superhumans and aliens.
The main reason was the conversion opportunities that human armies offered that did not involve too much 'green stuff'.

I began with High Elves, then switched to 40k with a ton of orks, I quitted for skavens (my favorites) and now I try to convince myself to glue and paint my marines. I was originaly going to make a DIY chapter... I think it may well be Omega Marines (4th company or not).

maybe we'll have to have a painting competition, who can paint the best Omega Marine. If anyone does decide to do an Omega marines army then be sure to post a new thread on the site with pics.

40k: I have a full 2000 point force of the Brothers from Ultramar, a 1500 ish force of Tau, and just started making a custom Mortifactor army.
Fantasy: I have been reading up on and want to get into the elves I suppose.
