Name: Marius Aurelius
Age: 179
Designation: Battle Brother biker (undergoing training as a librarian)
Height: 8ft 5"
Hair Colour: Blond
Eye Colour: Blue
Physical Description: Marius has a very rough and ready appearance, due to years spent in the jungles on his homeworld, Ligris. Taller than any human, he has slender limbs and moves with a grace that belies his speed and agility. His hand was disfigured in an attack by demons where his psychically attuned mind attracted the attentions of the ruinous powers. He also has numerous scars upon his back and his arms, caused by repeated application of ork Sluggas to the flesh.
He has a jovial, clean-shaven face, which was marred by a scar across his left cheek and blue eyes, but underneath the pretty boy outlook, his eyes are always alight with an incandescent flame, which occasionally betrays his true nature. His long blond hair is often in an untidy state, but this has no effect on his prowess.
Personality: Marius has learnt to take everything except battle and training lightly, with his oft-grinning face and sharp wit. His intelligence, daring and training has served him well in the many battles he has fought, and won. His only weakness is a lack of skill with a boltgun in comparison to his brothers, but he more than makes up for this in the assault departement. Past the humour, past the outlook, and you find a battle-hardened veteran who has laughed at death's door, and he fights and trains with the single-minded determination of one who has lost himself down many paths. He often falls into a battle-frenzy when his comrades are killed, fighting his way through traitor and xenos alike and blasting his comrades’ attackers left, right and center with his mind.
He also has the cold-blood and daring needed for surgical raids and, in his case, the use of the powers of the warp. He got out of tricky situation after tricky situation just by obliterating the leaders mind and blasting his minions out of the matterium. He has blessed his armour and weapons many times over by etching runes of gothic and arcane nature with his own blood, which is supposed to enhance the power of the rune.

History: Marius was born into a poor family on the world of Ligris, a deathworld in the armaggedon sector which was covered in jungles full of dangerous fauna and flora. People believed that an ancient race lived in the south of the jungles, amonst the ruins, and would kill anyone that they found there. A common punishment for the criminals was to send them to the jungles of the south. Non ever returned.
When Marius was thirteen years of age, he was sent to the council for the test of maturity. When they tried to look inside his mind to determine his thoughts, however, they were met with bars of admantium. Scared that this youngster was immune to the powers of mind control that kept their society in check, they sentenced him to be exiled to the southern jungles, so that he wouldn't disrupt their hold over the world.
He was soon shunted into the southern jungles, and the elders said that if he ever actually survived the ordeal, he would be burned alive. So he set off towards the south, living on animals and the few edible flora of the forests to survive.
On his travels, he spotted the remains of an ancient city hidden in the jungle. Hoping to find fellow exiles hiding out, he was ambushed by a strike force of eldar of Biel-Tan. Fighting for his life, he discovered that the gems the eldar wore on their armour granted him increased strength and speed. He started collecting them, instinctly absorbing the power of the dead eldar. The spirit stones increased his already potent (if not active) power. With his strength growing with every kill, he picked up some of his assailants weaponry. Very soon, all except one of the eight assailants lay dead. He was a warlock, leader of the strike force
The two beings locked minds, in a struggle for domination. Empowered with the souls of the dead eldar, Marius eventually won over, but not before the warlock exacted a heavy toll on him. Exhausted, Marius absorbed the warlocks remaining power, picked up a few amulets and charms, and took the warlock's blade for his own. Turning back towards his village with his new-found power, he prepared to revenge himself upon the elders.
In the dead of the night, Marius crept into the elders' cabins, slitting each of their throats and absorbing their power one by one. Satisfied with his work on Ligris, and confident nobody would blame it on him, he boarded the first ship to Armageddon as a stowaway.
Upon his arrival on Armaggedon, Marius started a mercenary force, which, under numerous occasions, aided the Omega marines to repel the ork attackers wherever they were found. He regularly fought alongside them, but the act that made his effort worthwhile was where he rescued a chaplain from the wreckage of his land raider transport, which had been blown up by accurate Shokk attack gunfire.
Screaming the battle cries of his home world, he repulsed the ork attackers from the wreckage using violence, strength and the warp. Unfortunately, at the time of greatest need, demons assaulted his mind, and, attempting to burn him to death, managed to disfigure his hand. Marius exorcised the demons and then carried the wounded chaplain back behind the lines.
He was then inducted into the chapter for bravery and dedication, and underwent the lengthy process of librarian training. To increase his skills, he fought in battle after battle against the orks, and gained quite a bit of reputation amongst his battle-brothers thanks to his speed and ferocity. Although he had the chance to become a brother marine, he rejected it in favour of becoming a biker, since it was the closest thing he could get to the native dragons of Ligris that swooped down from the sky at a high speed.
Specializing in shock attacks and guerilla warfare, his bike squads constantly outmaneuvered the orks slower elements time after time. He often charged into the middle of his enemies wielding his bolt pistol and combat knife in both hands, ignoring the need for two hands on a bike. After a successful raid on the main ork stompa factory, where he felled a prominent ork warboss, he was promoted to the rank of battle brother.
Marius is now undergoing training to become a librarian, where he will gain improved status within the company due to the rarity of such figures, and will be able to enhance his already potent close-combat abilities by training the unmatched powers his mind and spirit stones had granted him. After training has finished, he will lead the biker squads from the front, being granted permission to use his destructive powers on the battlefield to bolster the assault at critical points.
Sample RP:
That night, he had a dream. The same dream he had been having for the past 40 years. It involved the time where he rescued that sergeant from the land raider. Only, when they started burning him, more and more demons poured out of himself, shrieking hideous battle cries. They then pinned him to the ground and tormented him with pain and pleasure for his last living moments. They then ripped off his spirit stone, and left him to face the music.
His hands moved to his forehead. He was not dead. Rubbing his face, he got up. He donned his power armour and battle robes, then walked down to the bike assault course. He’d do a few stunts before breakfast, than move on to the chapel before his training.
He entered the hangar, walking over to where his bike rested. He ran his hands over his precious creation, meticously crafted and maintained. He even included a built-in heavy flamer, plasma power source and turbo charged grav-plates that he looted from eldar jetbikes. The grav-plates weren’t enough for prolonged flights, but they gave him the extra impulse needed to clear many gaps.
He hopped on to his bike, revving the engine up. He smiled. His add-on plasma power source was working very well. He must ask the company techmarine to tweak some of the engine designs to incorporate a plasma power source so that his fellow bikers could try to keep up with him.
Speeding out onto the bike course, he dodged trees, ruins, gravel, rocks and artificial enemies with effortless ease, shooting at any simulated targets that presented themselves. Finishing the 12 km course in under one minute and a half, he checked his shooting accuracy percentage. Only a 79% to hit ratio. Cursing himself for slipping so badly, he revved up his engine for another go.
