Narek had been silently repeating prayers to the Emperor while listening to his surroundings. Though he wasn't close enough to the commanders to overhear any of the briefing, word spread quickly of how the scouts were going to infiltrate and provide an opening for the rest of the force. It was good, solid plan.
That was until he heard Raziel, "Sgt, what are we going to do about Magnus? his heavy bolter isn't exactly a stealth weapon." He had a point. Once that gun discharged one bullet, the whole compound would be on alert.
"Sergeant Quintus, may I suggest that Magnus replace his heavy bolter with a Mk. V Godwyn, and that anyone carrying a bolter have silenced rounds? That is if our munitions permit." He hoped that there was something to replace Magnus' weapon onboard the Thunderhawk.
He swept his gaze across the camp. Guardsmen lingered about, unsure of what the future held for them. They were going to take and hold a hostile compound. The enemy forces could possibly outmatch them in number, strength, and firepower. Narek knew exactly how they felt; it was just like Armageddon.

To admit defeat is to blaspheme against the Emperor.

"Sgt, what are we going to do about Magnus? his heavy bolter isn't exactly a stealth weapon." Lucas had said, and he made a good point, except he had forgotten one thing. Magnus was about to say something, but Narek spoke up first.
"Sergeant Quintus, may I suggest that Magnus replace his heavy bolter with a Mk. V Godwyn, and that anyone carrying a bolter have silenced rounds? That is if our munitions permit." It was a good suggestion, but apparently he had also forgotten that the sergeant had ordered Magnus to take stalker rounds for his pistol.
At the time, Magnus hadn't been too happy with the decision. He loved his bolter like a brother, but now he saw the wisdom in the sergeants choice. A stealth mission would need at least one silenced weapon.
His heavy bolter was heavy, true, but Magnus was confident he could move it around quietly, and if something went wrong they might need the extra firepower. He decided against saying anything though, the decision was up to Quintus and they'd already wasted too much of his time with suggestions, although Narek made a good point about the rest of the squad using silenced bolt rounds in their bolters.

Though it pained him to leave Growler on it's honorary dais Theofonias checked his wargear several times before leaving and catching up to his squad.
Deciding that he should go to the 123rd and speak to them if he was to be fighting amongst them, Theofonias started to make his way to where the rank and file were clustered the most. On his home world tribes would send warriors to other allied villages in an attempt to gain understanding and and acceptance of the others' culture.
Taking off his helmet he fixes an older looking man with his consuming green eyes. He took in the smaller man, age approximately 30 years old, dark haired and darker skinned, he bore many scars on his face and hands, but most importantly he met Theofonias' eyes.
"My name is Battle-Brother Theofonias of the Omega Marines, 1st Tactical Squad, Delta Fireteam. Long has it been my way to learn of the men with whom I will be fighting. For varied are the servants of the Emperor, and not all of their ways are the same. I come to you in the spirit of brotherhood so that we may both serve the Most High to the best of our abilities."
