Ok, first off I'm rather new to all this but I tried my best lol.
Name: Magnus Calpurnius
Age: 32
Designation: Scout
Height: 7 feet.
Hair Colour: brown.
Physical Description: Much like most new neophytes, Magnus is tall, muscular and just growing out of the last vestiges of youth. As a child he underwent the initiation ceremonies of his home world, this involves extensive scarring to the face and arms, and he bears these with pride. His hair is cut short so as to avoid becoming a nuisance in battle, and he remains clean shaven. He has deep blue eyes that give the impression that he is able to look in to your very soul, though this is of course ridiculous as he is not a psykers.
Personality: Known as one of the more sensible neophytes, Magnus is not one for jokes and games, he prefers to keep himself to himself. Nevertheless he is a good soldier, he’ll follow any order no matter how immoral, and is happy to do his duty in the name of the Emperor. He is neither arrogant or humble, he is simply a man doing what he can with his life. The fact that he was skilled enough to be accepted in to the Omega Marines, while obviously a great honour, has done nothing to boost his ego. His home world believes that the Emperor guides every action a person makes, and so no matter what he does he is unlikely to take any real credit for it.

History: Like most applicants to space marine chapters, Magnus grew up on a harsh world. It was a heavily forested planet known mainly for the barbarian tribes inhabiting it’s southern most continent. It was to one of these tribes that Magnus was born. Even as a young child it was clear he was a great warrior, easily passing all the rituals and tests his tribe demanded of him, including the slaying of one of the great lion like beasts that prowl the jungles.
Soon, the Omega Marines came to his planet, immediately recognising the potential in him they took him away and began the process of turning him in to a space marine. He took to his new fate well, quickly learning the ways of the space marine, and soon showing an aptitude for long ranged warfare.
His first mission once he has received the black carapace was to assassinate a rebel guard captain who had taken his regiment with him to the worship of Chaos. This was no problem for Magnus, it took him less than a day to complete his mission despite being on his own and with limited ammo after his squad were ambushed upon insertion to the planet.
Since then he has performed his duties admirably and the commanders of the Omega Marines have high hopes for the young man.
Sample Roleplay:
It was cold, not that this bothered Magnus, he was used to the cold, he simply found it odd that a desert planet would be cold in the daytime. Still, this planet was ruled by Chaos, he had to expect the unexpected.
He had been on this Emperor forsaken planet for four hours now and was no closer to his target, and for the first time in his life he felt alone. His squad mates, men he had trained with, had all been killed on insertion. d**n those renegades. He thought, I will kill that captain.
His gun was damaged, he’d need to fix it before he could do anything. You couldn’t kill a heretic with a broken gun, no matter how much you wanted to. But first he needed somewhere safe.
He looked around, this planet had little in the way of cover. I hate deserts. There was a cave about 2 kilometres north-west. Well, it was his best option. It was his only option. He set out, constantly on the lookout for sentries, he had no idea where the rebel camp was and didn’t really want to get caught with a broken gun and some shrapnel in his leg.
“Finally.” He said, when he made it to the cave. It was a big cave. Just big enough to hold a predator. He thought. Not that I have any other options. He finished as he entered the cave, his bolt pistol ready.
Yeah, the sample role play isn't great, but every other time I tried this stuff (which is like 4 times total) I always did it kind of reactively to what other people posted, so writing one with nothing else there was rather hard. Anyway, I really would appreciate any help you could give me.
